Teaching Methodology

The students of Sri Sri Gurukul undergo a unique holistic education program that is both rigorous and enjoyable. Some unique aspects in the teaching methodology include

1.All students undergo the Art of Living program relevant to them. These programs include Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation and practical spiritual knowledge. This allow them to develop a healthy body, mind and pleasant personality. Daily routine of all students include practice of Yoga and Meditation.
2.Sports and Fitness training.
3.Training on Carnatic and Dravidian styles of music.
4.Training in computer skills.
5.Multi-Lingual instruction in Kannada, Sanskrit, Hindi and English to develop literary skills
6.Education to develop leadership skills, overall poise and holistic personality.
7.One year practical training in performing Poojas, Homas, Mahotsavams and Brahmotsavams at reputed heritage centres in India and abroad.

9.Teacher training programs for senior students.
10.Cultural programs twice a month.

It is no wonder that the Veda Agama Samskrutha Maha Patashala won the "Best School" award based on multiple criteria including knowledge, literary skills, chanting skills, overall poise, leadership qualities and personality of the students from among 20 patashalas at the National Level competition conducted by Srimath. Srikanta Shivacharya Veda Agama Vidyapeeta in January 2007.
